Worker/Family Management Question
I decided to start building out around my 'minning' area to the right here. Built out a logging camp to conceptually give them access to logs quicker (with a ox on a hitching post) and a few houses.

Problem is things are taking forever to be built over there and it seems like people are walking and moving stuff back and forth (even built an additional storehouse and granary).

Can I have certain individuals live and work over there? Would that be even effective?🤔
Also, it's the only decent area with Flax so I'm going to get more invested....

Click on one side of the map → scroll out → go to the other side of the map → scroll in → click again.
Make sure nothing's in the middle1 (I'm looking at you, random windmill in Waldbrand).
One long, straight line.

Redo: (mc/mark-all-in-region (region-beginning) (region-end))

Parallel lines are harder. Generally I then place a church on either side2 , but they don't always space the same, so I had to do some slight adjustments along the way.

Just saw that from a video from the ipfs, how do you make such perfect circle roads? Question

You can use the windmill to create a small circle to start with, then make the straight roads meeting in the middle and go outwards from there. It's not 'perfect', you still got to measure by eyesight.

summary:

  • small circle with windmill
  • straight roads in the middle
    • straight roads outwards from there.

u/tfarrister I did this but used a deer spawn circle as my starting point.
